(Europeans are coming again: Warning against repeating mistakes of the past)



Greetings your excellences, 

Every day I wake up in the morning and I ask myself; where is Africa going? Where are we going as a people? What’s our strategy to get there?

I know Asians today are more of a self-reliant continent. Most Asian countries that were also colonized have been able to correct their mistakes, put their house in order, and moved on. Today, super power nations are beginning to emerge from that part of the world. Nobody takes China for granted anymore.

Why are we unable to learn from history?

Your excellences, the above questions have been bothering me for a long time and I decided to speak out. We were not the only colonized continent in the world. There were also colonized countries in the Asian continent. I feel sad that over 60 years after our so-called independence we still have not figured out what Asians have done to totally free their people. Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, Brunei, even China, were also colonized. Why are we unable to learn from Asia?

To begin to develop, we must do what other colonized countries did before they began to develop.

What did they do? Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, Brunei, all these countries have long dropped the colonial brainwashing education given them by the colonial masters. After they got their independence, they re-invented education in their various countries to reflect knowledge acquisition by themselves, of themselves, and for themselves. They changed learning to using their various native languages, and therefore, were able to begin deeply appreciating scientific knowledge, and this led them to scientific and technological development which naturally always leads to industrialization.

What are we still doing with the brainwashing education we inherited from Britain and France? When are we going to get rid of this model of education?

We cannot develop because we have not done what Asians did!!. We are not pursuing scientific revolution- an age of human development we missed centuries ago. In the 1700-1800 century, we lost an age known as the “scientific revolution” in Europe. This age was what ushered Europe to technological development that gave them an edge over all other nation. Within this period, airplanes were built, trains were built, cars were built, advancement was made in chemistry, physics, biology and all the sciences, but sadly Africa was never part of that age. We were never part of it because we were then deeply in slavery and totally missed that age of development of mankind. In order to begin to develop, we must go back and complete that compulsory developmental curve. My research shows it’s a natural curve and there’re no short-cuts to it.

Even though the Philippines is also in that region of the world with a large population, but, like Africa, Philippines have failed to re-invent education like their Asian neighbours, and the result is poverty. Because no nation will industrialize without science!!. And just like the Philippines, we remain in poverty because we have not been able to unlock our full intellectual potentials, as we're still running on the minds of slaves using an indoctrinatory copy of education handed over to us by the colonial masters. We cannot develop because we are in a new form of slavery called intellectual slavery- a byproduct of the original slavery. What I've told you here is literally what the west don't want us to know.

It is a shame the so-called education handed over to us by Britain and France have us outsource knowledge creation to white people. We cannot expect to solve our problems, we cannot expect to develop when we have outsourced the power to know to foreigners!!. African historian, Professor C. TsehloaneKeto, captured what I'm trying to say here, when he said "The world of Africans and descendants of Africans and the world of scholarship about them is still the only one at the end of the Twentieth Century that retains a 'colonial' signature whereby experts and authorities outside African communities control knowledge creation and exceed experts inside those communities. This does not apply to Europe, Asia or the Americas. This has led to an unfortunate predilection among Africans to concede expert knowledge to outsiders. African people have tended in the past to surrender the right to academic self-affirmation to others, thereby accepting conclusions of a Eurocentric framework that have assigned a permanent peripheral role to the Africa centered perspective in the world's growing knowledge industry. Indeed, many of the 'authorities' who study and write about the African world and exercise great influence over the outside world's perception of Africa and Africans, the understanding of its value priorities, the vision of its future and the capacity to define its very essence for insiders and outsiders alike, often are not burdened with the knowledge of single African or African derived language."

Your excellences, we have made the worst mistake ever by handing over the power for knowledge creation to white people!. By doing so, we have signed our eternal death warrant!!. And this is because we don’t learn from history, neither do we listen to our prophets. 

A lot of prophets had been sent to set us free; Marcus Garvey, Fela Anikulapo Kuti, Lord Kwame Nkrumah, Bob Marley. Yet we listened to none.

Lord Kwame Nkrumah knew in advance such would be the end result of western education in Africa. Many years ago, Lord Nkrumah observed that colonial missionary schools curriculum was Euro-centric and that it carefully excluded African religion, culture, and history. After noticing this, Lord Nkrumah said: under such a system of education the youth of Africa is not prepared to meet any definite situations of the changing community except those of the clerical activities and occupations for foreign commercial and mercantile concerns

And he concluded by saying any educational program which fails to furnish criteria for the judgment of social, political, economic, and technical progress of the people it purports to serve has completely failed in its purpose, and has become an educational fraud.

Lord Nkrumah was the founding father of African independence and he warned us. He called western education a FRAUD!. Clearly, he saw it coming!!.

Among many ills, this education creates lack of capacity to master our own native languages, inability to read and write in our native languages, inability to resist western worldview on our African consciousness, erosion of African point of view and philosophy.

However, the downsides of western education is not the purpose of this letter. But, it may interest you to know what Lord Nkrumah foresaw is a new form of slavery called intellectual slavery. Intellectual slavery is the worst legacy of colonialism. But, as I said, its not the purpose of this letter. Its a story for another day. Your excellences, it is with a deep sense of apprehension that I've watched the British making an attempt to buy the loyalty of African kings/traditional rulers for whatever clandestine purposes they may have. 

Within a short while, the “Obi of Onitsha” has been visited by a European football club who even rewarded him with a jersey. And also recently, a British delegation paid him a visit. I have no issues with the visits in principle, but I would point out later what similar visits did to Africa in the past.

History tells me there must have been other visits across Africa to many other African kings. As a matter of fact, two weeks after I wrote this article, the Ooni of Ife was also seen shaking hands with Prince Charles and wife in London.

There’s something Britain is scheming that you don’t know. It has to do with a long-term strategy for re-colonizing their former colonies after exiting the European Union. That's the only way they can survive outside of the European Union!. This would only sound strange to you if you don't understand history or you're one of those who has fallen for the western hypnosis of Africa and the iron curtain over us- something we're unable to completely free ourselves since the 1400's.

Western solicitation of the loyalty and favor of African kings/ traditional rulers is not new. That’s actually how slavery began. Slavery began when European colonial forces began baiting African kings with gifts; wine, beads, mirror, e.t.c. There was a reason for the gifts. The gifts were meant to buy the loyalty of our kings!!.

Your excellences, I will advise that you please stop accepting any form of gift from Britain and France. If they come to you reject any gifts or bogus offers from them. It was through similar gifts they gave our ancestors before that they were able to penetrate us and was able to lure us to fight against ourselves in order to help them defend their colonies. After bribing African kings with wine, beads, mirror, Britain used Kenyan and Ugandan natives to fight off Germany from former German East Africa, while Germany used Tanzanians, Burundis, Rwandans to fight against Britain. The Dutch and Britain also both used South Africans to fight against themselves for colony acquisition. France used Togo natives to fight off Germany from Togo republic. The list goes on.

To get slavery started, all it took them was to bribe an African king/traditional ruler. All it took was bribe an African king/traditional ruler to prepare troops of African fighters to help them fight off rival European intruder in their colony. And while we fought against ourselves, they were busy harvesting prisoners of war (POW) who they’ll later bundle into ships and ship off across the Atlantic ocean to the Americas as slaves. What a deceit!.

If you don’t understand history, these waves of visits and gifts may appear innocuous to you. But as a historian, I already know what it is all about. As a matter of fact, I can see a pattern emerging. And that's why I must speak out. 

Before I proceed, and in order to understand this letter, let us first understand the mindset of European/white supremacists. 

The mindset of a slave master, the mindset of a control freak terrorist. 

Why did slavery happen? What were white people thinking?

Till the late 1800 century, the European philosophy; especially Britain and France had always been that slavery was justified, and that there was nothing wrong enslaving black people. This view is reflected in all areas of their life. In 1849, when the call for the abolition of slavery was gaining ground in Europe, a British man named Thomas Carlyle published an essay titled “the occasional discourse on the negro question” in which he appealed to Europeans that it was a wrong idea to stop enslaving black people. Therefore, he asked for a return to full-scale slavery and he justified it. 

According to him ‘’white people should rule black people”, 
just like those who know rules those who don’t know,
just like the educated rules the uneducated,
just like masters have servants,
just like the strong control the weak,
just like men marry women,
just like the hawk prey on chickens,
just like lions eat antelopes,

As you can see, Thomas Carlyle believed slavery was natural and that Europeans were mandated to enslave black people. He believed Britain have the right to enslave black people and that abolition of slavery was a wrong idea.

The article was a hit across Europe because it appealed to British philosophy and to the viewpoint of other European slave owners.


Interestingly, Thomas Carlyle wasn’t alone in this view. Till the 1800 century, European and American churches and priests also widely held the view that “slavery was ordained by God”. Bible passages were often being quoted to rebellious slaves to remind them to obey their masters, as it was the will of God for them to be enslaved. Popular bible passages used by European slave traders and missionaries include the below:-

Ephesians 6 5:8 New International Version.
Slaves, obey your earthly masters with respect and fear, and with sincerity of heart, just as you would obey Christ. Obey them not only to win their favor when their eye is on you, but as slaves of Christ, doing the will of God from your heart. Serve wholeheartedly, as if you were serving the Lord, not people, because you know that the Lord will reward each one for whatever good they do, whether they are slave or free.

1 Corinthians 7:20:22 New International Version.

Each person should remain in the situation they were in when God called them. Were you a slave when you were called? Don’t let it trouble you- although if you can gain your freedom, do so. For the one who was a slave when called to faith in the Lord is the Lord’s freed person; similarly, the one who was free when called is Christ’s slave.

Slaves, obey your earthly masters in everything; and do it, not only when their eye is on you and to curry their favor, but with sincerity of heart and reverence for the Lord. Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving. Anyone who does wrong will be repaid for their wrongs, and there is no favoritism.

Slaves, in reverent fear of God submit yourselves to your masters, not only to those who are good and considerate, but also to those who are harsh. For it is commendable if someone bears up under the pain of unjust suffering because they are conscious of God. But how is it to your credit if you receive a beating for doing wrong and endure it? But if you suffer for doing good and you endure it, this is commendable before God.

Since time immemorial, the idea of equality and freedom for all human beings remains something so difficult for Europeans to understand. They’re wired not to understand it. From Europe to America to Australia to South Africa, its evident their view of black people as unequal to themselves was and still largely the same.

In America, it took people like Martin Luther King Jr, and the civil right groups to beat them to shape. In South Africa, it took people like Nelson Mandela and the death of many innocent black South Africans to get them to begin thinking like human beings. In Ghana, it took people like Lord Kwame Nkrumah to have them realize freedom is not a white only right. What we had to contend with are people who don’t reason like human beings!. Their instinct is purely like an animal instinct like you have lions, leopards, hyenas, and other animals compete for food in the wild. Their sense of humanity is dead!!.

And they talk about democracy? Where did they ever practice this democracy?

They didn’t practice democracy in South Africa.
They didn’t practice democracy in Australia.
They didn’t practice democracy in Asia.
They didn’t practice democracy in South America.
They didn’t practice democracy in the West Indies.
They didn’t practice democracy in North America.
They didn’t practice democracy in the Caribbean.
They didn’t practice democracy in Africa.

Where on earth did they practice this democracy they talk about? It took black lives and blood to beat them to shape to comprehend the concept of democracy!!.

Even in their own land in Europe, the concept of equality and democracy was alien to them. They invented slavery and were the first people to hold themselves to servitude as serfs in medieval Europe where landowners had to work the serfs as horses in the field. England held Irish and Scotish people as slaves for many years!. They later became indentured laborers over many years. And there was no place for women in Europe, whereas, for thousands of years Africans have had women (queens) ruling entire nation.

Queen Nefertiti was Female Pharaoh during the 18th Dynasty of Egyptian monarchy- 1353-1336 BC.
Queen Tausret was Female Pharaoh during the 19th Dynasty of Egyptian monarchy- 1187-1185 BC.
Queen Sobeknefru was Female Pharaoh during the 12th Dynasty of Egyptian monarchy- 1767-1759 BC.

This was thousands of years when the British monarchy has not even begun!!. The concept of democracy, man, and woman being equal in ancient Egypt (Africa) was so shocking to Herodotus (a Greek historian) when he visited Egypt in 450 BC. He was so surprised about democracy in Egypt that he noted: “Egyptians have reversed the ordinary practices of mankind”. He was surprised because at that time Europe was still in total darkness, even till the 1920's women were not allowed to vote in Britain or own property in other parts of Europe.

Women have been eligible to rule, vote, own property in Africa as far back 3,000 years ago, at a time when European civilization hasn't even begun. In Africa, the concept of not allowing women vote doesn’t appear anywhere in our culture. In my village, we even have “women only day” where women perform festivities that put men at home and in the back seat throughout the festival period. Democracy and equal rights is an African concept!!.

Their animal mindset echoed across the ocean. In America, former US president, Thomas Jefferson, in a note to the state of Virginia in the late 1700s said I advance it therefore as a suspicion only, that the blacks, whether originally a distinct race, or made distinct by time and circumstances, are inferior to the whites in the endowments both of body and mind. It is not against experience to suppose, that different species of the same genus, or varieties of the same species, may possess different qualifications. Will not a lover of natural history then, one who views the gradations in all the races of animals with the eye of philosophy, excuse an effort to keep those in the department of man as distinct as nature has formed them? This unfortunate difference of colour, and perhaps of faculty, is a powerful obstacle to the emancipation of these people. Many of their advocates, while they wish to vindicate the liberty of human nature, are anxious also to preserve its dignity and beauty. Some of these, embarrassed by the question "What further is to be done with them?" join themselves in opposition with those who are actuated by sordid avarice only. Among the Romans emancipation required but one effort. The slave, when made free, might mix with, without staining the blood of his master. But with us a second is necessary, unknown to history. When freed, he is to be removed beyond the reach of mixture".


Thomas Jefferson made the idea of white supremacism look cool and he inspired white supremacists all over the world. He singlehandedly enshrined superiority complex in the consciousness of white people in America starting in the mid-1700s.

This view was also reflected even in science. In 1859 (ten years after Thomas Carlyle) another British man named Charles Darwin justified slavery scientifically in his book “the origin of species” in which he said categorically that nature is blind and that all species of plants and animals exist as a matter of survival of the fittest- natural selection. Totally in accord with Thomas Carlyle’s philosophy!. However, let me state here that the question isn’t whether natural selection is responsible for the survival of the fittest, but using it to justify slavery is what is wrong. Because we as human beings have a conscience. We are not trees!!. I need to point this out because world war British prime minister, Winston Churchill and many others did justify slavery on that basis. I will get to that soon.

Look at the book opening pages (click to enlarge) on the area circled in red and you’ll see Darwin categorically said “the preservation of favoured races in the struggle for life”

Why did Darwin say that? Because at the time the book was written, race was the biggest topic of the day, and he wanted to throw in his support (though subliminally) that the white race was the favoured race in face of horrendous slavery.

Darwin’s book was also a hit both in the science world and the political life of Britain, and the other colonialists. It’s a pity most black people don’t know this, but from then on slavery was viewed by the British as a survival of the fittest and not as a crime!. In fact, Darwin boosted the morale of the other colonialists across Europe, Africa, Asia, and America, and indeed helped inspire people like Thomas Carlyle and Churchill.

After physical slavery came the birth of Neo-colonialism

By the end of the Second World War, Britain had been severely weakened by the war and had begun planning a new world order in which they would rule their colonies from remote. They began planning a new world order in which they’ll control banking, economy, education, politics, and government, of all their colonies from Buckingham palace, London. It’s not a surprise then that at the end of the second world war when Winston Churchill talked about the new world order that was being planned, he indeed echoed the philosophy of Thomas Carlyle when he said "the governments of the world must be entrusted to the satisfied nations. If the world’s government were in the hands of hungry nations there will always be danger. Our power place us above the rest, we are like rich men dwelling at peace within their habitation and therefore our right to rule. That's the way the world ought to be and will be”.

Churchill adds "The rich men of the rich societies must rule the world, competing among themselves for the greater share of the spoils (colonies). And they are to be assisted by the rich men of the hungry nations”. Others are supposed to serve or suffer.

Winston Churchill made above comments as he was struggling to hang on to the then fast collapsing British empire. These push for a new world order continues being implemented today, and any visit by Britain and France is something we need be wary about.

Your excellences, be advised that the ideals of Thomas Carlyle, Charles Darwin, Winston Churchill, and Thomas Jefferson, remains alive and kicking in the mind of a European. It is an ideal they’re proud of. It is the very essence of who they are and the reason for the visits you get from Britain and France. To understand it, let’s find out how slavery began.

How did slavery begin?

Whether in Africa or the Americas, slavery began the same way. Slavery began by baiting indigenous Kings wherever they (Europeans) found a new colony. Once they arrived in a new colony, their nine steps strategy to slavery was (1) bait the king with gifts, (2) buy the loyalty of the king, (3) use that as access to his kingdom, (4) explore the lay of the land (5) control the king by giving more gifts (6) if the king refuses to co-operate, then dethrone him and install a new king, (7) make themselves the new ruling class, (8) make the king a puppet prime minister (9) Finally, control his kingdom. 

In cases where the king refused to be baited, their plan B was dethroning the king by military force and send him to exile, most times using a neighboring rival tribe. The colonialists would then supply ammunition to both neighboring kingdoms, and the two kingdoms descend into war and would be ruled by "divide and rule" a tactic whereby people are ruled while they are at war with each other. The resultant refugees and prisoners of war (POW) are automatically taken to slavery and shipped to the Americas as slaves. This is where they got the lies that Africans sold slaves to them. In reality, the slaves were vulnerable people/refugees running from the colonial wars. Slavery happened by arms twisting, foolery, kidnapping, trickery, war. More details about this was discussed on the topic, the true history of slavery and slave acquisition in Africa.

The Spaniards and Portuguese were the first to invent this strategy in the Americas. In mid 1445, the Spaniards and Portuguese dethroned many kings and traditional rulers in Peru, Colombia, Brazil, Mexico, Ecuador, Chile, e.t.c, and took over their properties. The British learned the trade and turned their aggression to Africa, a continent that had never done wrong to anyone. Over many years, Britain and France dethroned African kings and sent many into exile. They looted Africa and took many to slavery.

In 1887, the British dethroned king Jaja of Opobo and forced him to exile for refusing to allow British monopoly on commodity trade in his kingdom.

In 1861, the British threatened Oba of Lagos, Oba Dosunmu with war for refusing to sign a treaty surrendering Lagos to them as a British protectorate. He later succumbed and gave up Lagos as a British protectorate.

In 1895, the British dethroned king Koko Mingi VIII of Nembe and sent him to exile for refusing to accept an exploitative contract term from the royal Niger company- a British colonial monopoly.

In 1735, a British delegation shot Oba Oresoyen in his palace for being stubborn and refusing to take instruction from Queen of England.

In 1897, the British dethroned Oba Ovonramwen of Bini kingdom and sent him to exile after unsuccessful attempts to lure him to surrender his kingdom to slavery. After he was exiled, the British called a meeting of the community, and in a triumphant tone, they said “you see, your King is gone!. From today, you have only one King and her name is Queen Victoria. Henceforth, she’s the only one you shall pay tributes to”.

In 1894, the British exiled king Nana of Itsekiri to Ghana and took over his oil palm factory and cocoa plantation.

In 1896, the British exiled King Prempeh I of Ashanti kingdom for refusing to offer them 50,000 ounces of gold at once, even as the king was begging them he can pay in installments starting with an initial 680 ounces down payment. The British took the 680 initial deposit from him and reneged from the agreement. Finally, the head of the British expedition ordered king Prempeh to vacate his seat and to sit on the floor. When king Prempeh sat on the floor, he sat on Prempeh's official seat and started verbally abusing the king, the Ashanti kingdom, and black people in general with all sorts of derogatory words. When he was done abusing the king, he asked the king to come forward to kiss his boots (his right and left foot) and the king did so. After humiliating the king in the presence of the whole village, he sent him to exile to Seychelles.

Note that king Prempeh did not owe Britain any gold as he didn’t have any business with them; rather, the British heard his official seat was made of real gold, they got jealous and wanted some of the gold. When Prempeh refused to give them gold, they threatened him to provide gold or have his kingdom invaded. The king under fear of exile signed he would provide the gold, but he didn’t have all of the gold at once.

In 1899, the British exiled King Mwanga II of Buganda a.k.a the Kabaka of Buganda to Seychelles. He was dethroned for refusing to convert to Christianity and also for refusing to sign a treaty with Lord Lugard granting Britain power over taxes in his kingdom and trade to the Imperial British East Africa Company.

In 1899, the British shot and wounded king Kabalega of Bunyoro in his palace for refusing to surrender his kingdom to colonialism. He was exiled to Seychelles and the British installed a puppet king.

In 1883, the British pressured Oba Awujale Fidipote to exile in Epe, after threatening military invasion of his kingdom.

In 1896, the British sent Queen Yaa Asantewaa to exile to Seychelles for refusing to submit to imperial rule. Queen Yaa Asantewa fought gallantly and was only defeated by a fortified British expeditionary force.

In 1891, the British dethroned and exiled king Waiyaki Wa Hinga. King Waiyaki had earlier made an agreement with the British to allow them to settle peacefully in his land. As usual, the British reneged from the agreement a few months later and wanted everything in his kingdom including his seat. A fight ensued and they hit king Waiyaki with (simi) dagger on his head and planned to take him to court for prosecution. On the way to the court, they changed their mind and decided to bury him alive instead. Till today, nobody knows where they buried him.

In 1835, the British captured and beheaded king Hintsa in South Africa. He was of the Xhosa tribe. The queen of England asked that his skull be brought to her palace in London, and it was done. Till today, nobody knows where they buried him or where his skull is.

The list of dethroned and exiled African kings is endless. There must have been over 2,500 of such cases as ancient Africa was ruled by kings. Every single African king had to be dethroned or exiled for his kingdom to be enslaved. The French, Germans, Spanish, Portuguese, also have their share of these crimes in Africa. Even in their own continent in Europe, their callousness and unending appetite for destruction of properties is legendary.

Your excellences, be warned that neither Britain nor France is reaching out to you because they love you. Britain is reaching out to you because they have something up in their sleeves. Their nature is to control others and they’ve perfected the techniques over many centuries of controlling nations. They have never stopped!. They didn’t stop!!. They will never stop!!!.

The only thing that stopped is the physical shipping of Africans to the Americas. Just like we moved from black and white television to colored television to television with remote control, so is the act of slavery evolving over the years. You wouldn't know what they are up to because they're patient and it takes decades to mature their end game. Their end game is simply to control you and your kingdom.

Your excellences, history tells me the fact they're interested in you means they have no respect for you. As Europeans traveled around the world enslaving people, their strategy was to find a submissive ethnic group within the colonized lands and elevate them above the other ethnic groups, give them some privileges, though never enough to challenge the colonial master. In exchange for this elevated status, the colonial masters would make the chosen ethnic group do their dirty works. The chosen ethnic group then willingly comply as they see themselves as privileged and well off than others. Over time, these slightly elevated people often tried to keep the European masters in power even after the people realized how evil colonialism was, maintaining the system both to keep above their fellows and out of fear of retaliation for the dirty works they’ve done to other ethnic groups. Believe it or not, they're interested in you because they actually see you as the weakest point in accessing your nation. For example; they’ll never pay a visit to someone like Robert Mugabe. I’ am not saying Mugabe is the best president in the world, but what I’ am saying here is they’ll never approach you if they see you as someone capable of independent critical thinking. Throughout history, they never engage anyone who they consider an independent-minded person or someone who'll throw a challenge. They go for someone they consider the weakest contact point; just like the hungry lion go for the weakest animal among the herd of antelope in the wild.

Again, go and re-read the mindset of Thomas Carlyle, Winston Churchill, and Thomas Jefferson. Once you understand that, you’ll understand how white people view black people. It doesn’t matter whether you’ve won Nobel prize in all the sciences, white man sees you the same way Thomas Carlyle and Thomas Jefferson viewed black people. Even though a black scientist named Benjamin Banneker was the architect who designed the Whitehouse in America, but white people didn’t view him differently.

Bottom line: Britain cannot approach you unless they've figured out or they’re figuring out how to exploit your nation. In fact, you could be part of a wider plot to re-enslave Africa in the making. It would take them decades to arrive their goal. 

Remember, I' am not writing this because I hate white people, but because we have to take precaution as something big is coming.

Something big is coming and anybody with an eye of history can see it already. After exiting the European Union, Britain must get its resources from someone somewhere. And history and unfolding events already is telling me, they are heading back to their colonies for survival. They really have no other way to go now, that's why they have every hand on deck to strengthen the Commonwealth of nations- a colonial institution strategically created to give them refuge in such a time!!. The commonwealth of nations was not created to help you!. It was created as a substitute that Britain can fall back to when in a situation such as they are today. The handwriting is on the wall!. Can’t we just read the handwriting on the wall?

Your excellences, I have looked around and nobody is talking. No thanks to their control of academia and knowledge creation in Africa which has rendered our schools incapacitated to understand the importance of history. Instead, they’ve succeeded in making us put history in the back seat in our schools. But, the founding father of African independence, Lord Kwame Nkrumah, warned that there would be other forms of slavery.

Yes, physical slavery may have ended but slavery is still going on in other forms. Today, you have intellectual slavery, economic slavery, and technological slavery. Indeed, Lord Kwame Nkrumah warned that neo-colonialism is the last stage of imperialism, for which I add “intellectual slavery is the worst legacy of colonialism” itself. The engine running neo-colonialism is intellectual slavery, and we are going nowhere as a people until we re-invent education in Africa to be able to create knowledge and learn on our own terms. Despite all the warnings by our prophets, but today we're back to being docile just like our ancestors. Not once in history have we ever been proactive like the Europeans visiting us with gifts. There's no think-tank in the whole African continent giving advise on what we must do to steer ourselves out of future imperial control. I look around and it seems everybody has gone to sleep as if the imperialists are done exploiting us. 

Your excellences, be informed that for many years there've been a clandestine cult of European white supremacists plotting what they call the 21stcentury model of slavery. Their intelligence gathering agencies have spent Billions of dollars developing this new model of slavery and have tested it across Africa and their other former colonies. Britain is very confident they've worked out a master plan, they’re so confident that they have to exit the European Union to strengthen the commonwealth as a launching pad to 21st slavery.

Are we going to allow ourselves be enslaved again?

Just look back at history and you'll see Britain never gave up on any of it's colony. Like a parasite, they've evolved to never be able to survive without the host. 

Again, Britain is perfectly following Winston Churchill’s vision when he said"The rich men of the rich societies must rule the world, competing among themselves for the greater share of the spoils (colonies). And they are to be assisted by the rich men of the hungry nations”.

The quote above is like their motto!. Are we so dumb we can't even look back to history to see there's a dangerous imperialist storm gathering against us? 

Your excellences, Britain or France will never come to you to say “I want to colonize you”. They'll never tell you “I want to enslave you”. Their plans to dominate your nation would begin softly and cordially just as their ancestors did before. A cordial trade in gold in Ashanti and ancient Ghana kingdom gradually turned to slave trade. Before we knew it our gold mines became their own, leaving us as their servants. Before we knew it we began serving them in our own lands!!. Do we really want to repeat the mistakes of the past? 

How long more must we continue to feed European Kings and Queens?

Isn't 450 years of exploitation of Africa enough?

What more do white people want from us? We've already given them everything!.

Hold on, if you think this is a long history lesson. But, one would better understand this letter when he/she have the big picture. 

Your excellences, we've suffered in the hands of Europeans for 450 years, some African countries for up to 500 years. It's time we start looking inward. It's time we stand on our own feet like Asians. It's time we begin pursuing the policy of self-reliance. Asians understand this and have moved on!.

There's nothing more Britain or France can do for Africa!. White people have done their best!!!. 

Your excellences, Britain doesn’t even have the resources to help us. This is a dead empire in its very last days, holding on to whatever it can grasp, like a drowning man in the river banks. But they don't give up until as the parasite they are, they find a new host to suck blood from.

Could you believe that over 100 years after slavery was officially abolished, Britain continued slave trade and shipping of Africans to the Americas. Every effort made by different bodies to stop them failed. Again, former US President, Thomas Jefferson was so frustrated about the behavior of Britain and their refusal to give up slavery that he said “For the most trifling reasons, and sometimes for no conceivable reason at all, his majesty has rejected laws of the most salutary tendency. The abolition of domestic slavery is the great object of desire in those colonies where it was unhappily introduced in their infant state. But previous to the enfranchisement of the slaves we have, it is necessary to exclude all further importations from Africa. Yet our repeated attempts to effect this by prohibitions, and by imposing duties which might amount to a prohibition, have been hitherto defeated by his majesty’s negative: thus preferring the immediate advantages of a few British corsairs to the lasting interests of the American states, and to the rights of human nature deeply wounded by this infamous practice”.

Note that Jefferson himself hated black people and he owned some slaves, yet he thought Britain's hatred for Africans was not comparable to anything he knew. 

Your excellences, again, be informed that Britain and France never give up on their colony, because they've evolved not being able to prosper unless they're somehow exploiting one country or the other. In the first and second world wars, while fighting their own wars that we knew nothing about, they came to Africa once again kidnapping able-bodied Africans on the streets of Africa who they forcefully enrolled into their armies. France kidnapped more than 300,000 people from Ivory Coast, Togo, Benin Republic, Gabon, Congo, e.t.c. And on the instruction of the dictator Winston Churchill, Britain also kidnapped over 200,000 Africans from Nigeria, Ghana, Gambia, Sierra-Leone, who they sent off to Burma in Asia. After the wars, none of the African soldiers received their pension and their entitlements. Every effort made to get Britain and France to reward them failed. All of them died poor.

Your excellences, Britain has no history of giving up on their colony!. In mid 1800, they tried colonizing China, but when China refused to be enslaved, Britain hatched a plan B which was to begin producing food items laced with heroin and cocaine which they shipped into China for the consumption of the Chinese people. The Chinese people ate the drugged foods for months, and within a short while, the Chinese population became junkies unable to resist foreign control. They became a docile population needing more drug “gifts” day by day. Soon, they were no longer able to resist the imposition of foreign views. It was only then that a Chinese king under the influence of heroin signed away Hong Kong and other regions of China and gave it to Britain. The Chinese king gave out his country without the knowledge of what he was doing!. You see? Again, proving that Britain cannot deal with you unless they either consider you dumb or plan to make you dumb. 

We remain a docile people unable to sense the future and take proactive measure. This docility or what I'll prefer to call LOVE is our greatest weak point and has been misinterpreted by white people as stupidity, and they've always taken advantage of it to control us from time immemorial. It is time for us to become cautious of our relationship with the west, be proactive, pursue our own policies, and our own objectives. They’ve made a thousand trips to Africa and continue to do so because they want something from us. But, what do we want from the west?. What are our plans to exploit them? What is our vision? What are our objectives and goal?

Thomas Jefferson understood this need for America to cut-off from Europe, have its own goals, aspirations, and he said Nothing is so important as that America shall separate herself from the systems of Europe, and establish one of her own. Our circumstances, our pursuits, our interests, are distinct. The principles of our policy should be so also. All entanglements with that quarter of the globe should be avoided if we mean that peace and justice shall be the polar stars of the American societies."

I think African leaders should go and study Thomas Jefferson’s relationship with Europe. Jefferson ruled America in the early 1800’s when the US was battling for it's independence from Britain in order to have control over their lives. He was a well educated European descendant in America, and he knew Europe inside out, and therefore, was able to read their game plan ahead. See Thomas Jefferson's thought about Europe.

Jefferson's life is very interesting, because he was a hypocrite who owned about 175 slaves and at the same time he was saying "We hold these truths to be self-evident: that all men are created equal; that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights; that among these are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness".

How could someone have 175 slaves and at the same time be saying all men are equal? What's the rationale behind this? He has to be mad to do both at the same time!!.


Your excellences, China was also partly colonized by Japan. Today, Chinese people are extremely cautious when dealing with Japan and Britain. They are so cautious that it's almost a taboo for them to marry each other. I’ am not preaching hate here, but at least China understands their past, and therefore, would not want to repeat the mistake of the past. Knowledge of history is the reason China and Japan don’t get along. Because they know what’s at stake. Like China and Japan, the same Britain that wants to get along with Africa, don't get along with their fellow European countries, because of the turbulent history they also had with others.

Your excellences, for your information, Britain was also colonized between the 4th-5th century AD by Germans, French, Spaniards, and Rome. In the times of their captivity, they spoke Latin, Greek, French, which were the languages of their captors. But, once they regained their freedom they banned the speaking of foreign languages in the entire British isle. They then adopted their native English language as their official language. The year was 1362, and it was only then that English became an official language. They also stopped education in foreign languages in 1348 and started learning in their native English language. It was only as a result that Britain later became a powerhouse of science and technological innovation. If Britain loved you, they'll have told you the importance of this event in their own national development and why we must do the same. 

Ever since the end of their captivity, Britain doesn’t get along with their European brothers and sisters. It is for this same reason they don't feel comfortable being in the European Union because they know their history. Britain is about to exit the European Union because they feel trapped and want to return to being simply British. Yet, at the same time, they want to strengthen ties with Africa!. What an irony!!.

Your excellences, again, be informed, the first thing Britain did after regaining their freedom was they banned the speaking of all foreign languages in the entire British Isles and adopted their native English language as their official language. Yet, the same Britain forced English language down the throats of our ancestors during their occupation of our lands. What a hypocrite they are!!.

Your excellences, if Britain loved you, they'll be advising you on the importance of our native African languages to our well-being and development, and how to restore our native languages in schools and society above English language. Because that’s exactly what Britain themselves did in 1348.

If Britain loved you, they'll be telling you the relationship between native language and learning, and that there's no great nation on earth that speaks a foreign language. It is time we come out of the box and place priority on our various native languages in schools and in society.

Your excellences, if Britain or France had any respect for you, the queen of England would have tendered an unreserved apology to Africa for their crimes in Africa which contributed immensely to the condition we find ourselves today. You all know what our customs say about appeasing the land in our various countries. As an Igbo man, I know what Europeans must do to redeem themselves from such a huge crime. When they're ready to remedy their sins, the Queen must go naked on an Orie market day with a bell in her hand announcing to the entire town what a crime they committed against our people. Then, she has to proceed to Yoruba land to appease the gods, then off to Bini, to the Kikuyus in Kenya, to Zulus in South Africa, to Ashanti people in Ghana, e.t.c. Their hands are still dripping with the blood of black people and they have no remorse whatsoever!!. They're still busy plotting to re-invent slavery for the 21st century!. 

If they loved you, they'll be advising you and helping you to make a case for the re-organization of the original African system of government that they destroyed. They would have advocated that you should have a constitutional role to play in your country, paving way for African kings and queens to be part of the legislature, judiciary, and executives in your various countries. Nothing should happen at the legislature, judiciary and executive arm of government without the approval of our kings. The fake countries and governments installed by Britain and France is the only reason your roles have been relegated to the back seat, depriving you of legal role in your own country. According to our African tradition, the king is the center of power and authority, but Britain and France cheated you off constitutional powers and put you at the back seat!!.

Your excellences, if Britain loved you, they'll be advising you on what we need do to begin detoxifying ourselves from the harmful effects resulting from western influence on our psyches and the consequent drowning of capacity to master our own native languages. If they loved you, they would have been telling you the result is the inability to read and write in our native languages, inability to resist western worldview they imposed on us via education, the depletion of African consciousness, the de-Africanization of an African mind, the erosion of African point of view and philosophy.

If they cared for you, they'll be telling you how wrong it is to place English language or French above our native languages in schools and in society at large.

If they loved you, they'll be telling you what an age we missed between 1600-1800 when we were deeply in slavery while Europe entered the age of science and technology.

If they loved you, they'll be telling you what we must do now to restore our African value system damaged during slavery.

If they loved you, they'll apologize for the massive shipment of African people to slavery in the Americas by their ancestors.

If Britain loved you, they'll be telling you what they (British) did to restore their freedom after the occupation of their lands by the Germans, Spaniards, French, Rome. 

But, they’ll never tell us!. It is up to us to free ourselves!!.

Ultimately, we Africans are the only ones to solve our problems. White people will never solve our problems for us. If we must collaborate, then we're better off collaborating with China and Japan or even Germany and Russia who weren’t much interested in the slavery of African people. China does not pursue the policy of colonizing other nations. All they care about is trade. But, we haven't even exploited our own inter-African partnership potentials to it's fullest.

Your excellences, Britain and France have never considered slavery a thing of the past. They actually regret it had to end, and its something they always want to re-invent to keep being in control of the economies of their former colonies. The only reason some of us think slavery has ended is because they don’t know history, and they don’t understand the slave master is very patient and dynamic, always adapting with time. If only they knew!.

Those of you out there who often say history doesn't matter, you don't know what you are talking about. Your lack of knowledge of history is the reason you’ll never be proactive, because you don’t know history is always repeating itself. As early as 2003, when George Bush and Tony Blair wanted to invade Iraq, the last thing Mr. Bush said was "Saddam Hussein and his sons must leave Iraq within 48 hours", I watched it live on TV and immediately I said to myself “he certainly know how his ancestors exiled kings”. What George Bush told Saddam Hussein in 2003 and the eventual death of Saddam by hanging is exactly how his ancestors dethroned African kings, native American kings, Asian kings, centuries ago!!. But, if you don’t understand history you’ll think it’s the first time such happened. Dethroning Kings and putting them to death or sending them to exile is a strategy developed centuries ago!. It is not new!. It is now like a genetic trait passed to them and that’s what George Bush and Tony Blair did in Iraq.

When you understand history, you'll realize that history has little to do with the past. History is a study of the future!. By the 1940's, as colonial powers began losing control over their colonies, they hastily began creating institutions such as the World Bank, international monetary fund, international criminal court. Over many years, both the World Bank and IMF have been used to control the economies of many third world countries. The international criminal Court has become the international criminal Court for African leaders, whereas high profile war crimes have been committed by former British prime minister, Tony Blair, but the court turned a blind eye. Yet, an African Charles Taylor is in jail for exactly same offense!. As I type this message, Syrian president Bashir Al-Asad has committed war crimes, including bombing his subjects and gassing them, but Muammar Ghadafi was ousted for committing a similar offense. So, don't tell me history is about the past.

Believe it or not, we would be re-colonized in future, unless we take proactive measures today. History is always repeating itself!!.

Lack of knowledge of history is like flying an airplane without a compass. For the airplane to have a successful journey, it must know where it took-off, where it is at any point in time on the air, the direction it must fly to get to it’s desired destination. When you know your history, you'll know the whole truth, you'll understand why you're in your present condition, how to avoid mistakes of the past, and what you need to do. If you know your history, you'll understand white people are not a superior race to blacks, but that something went wrong between 1400-1800 century.

Consider history as a clock. Without a clock, it would be impossible for you to know what time of the day in order for you to follow a schedule to accomplish a certain task you set for yourself on a given day. So, what your clock does for you is that it will divide your time, give you an inkling of where you've been at what time, and what you still have to do for the rest of the day and the time to do them.

The clock is like a miniature history keeper!!. This’s why Dr. John H. Clarke said “History is like a clock that people use to tell their historical, political and cultural time of the day. It is also a compass that people use to find themselves on the map of human geography. History tells a people where they have been and what they have been, where they are and what they are. Most important, history tells a people what they still must be and where they must go. The relationship of a people to their history is the same as the relationship of a child to the mother.

No people can be full, no people can be whole, no person can be complete without knowledge of his or her own history.

The beauty of history is that once you know your history, you'll know what you'll have to do for yourself and as a people. Your knowledge eliminates your excuses for not re-building your own house irrespective of the poor condition you met it. Your knowledge of what you did before you was conquered eliminate your excuses for not trying to rebuild yourself.

Your lack of knowledge of history and the chronology of history robs you of the knowledge of knowing that the European was the last branch of the human race to get into the arena of human civilization. A bunch of juvenile delinquents coming out of the third ice age in Europe, taking over the world, killing babies in the bath. And you are bowing to them thinking you are bowing to a man because he's dressed like one. Over half of human history was over and Europeans were not even in this world!! ”.

European civilization is very young, whereas Africans have been on this earth for Millions of years!. We Africans should be the ones running the world, not Europeans.

History is really the only way you can decipher the direction of events. That’s why Winston Churchill said: “the farther back you look at history, the farther forward you are likely to see”.

In closing, let me say history is not just about the past. History has little to do with the past. When you understand history, you’ll understand it has more to do with the future. Of course, not when you learn the standard history doctored by European scholars and handed over to us in African schools. The real African history has never been told, but we’ve unearthed it through independent research. This new African centered view of history and education is what we should be teaching to our children. And should there be any African out there who want this message taken to the next level, I’ am here ready to serve the African people.

What we need to do is quite simple. We must discard the brainwashing colonial education given us by the colonial masters and reinvent education in Africa. We must pay priority attention to our native languages in school and begin using our languages to acquire knowledge. There’s no great nation in the world that speaks a foreign language.

Finally, we must learn science, because we cannot develop without learning science to build our own technologies. We lost the wars and got enslaved because we didn’t have a better gun. They won because they had a better gun. We must learn science!.

I’ am ready to offer free services to African leaders to steer us to the right direction. The queen of England and indeed monarchs in western climes are surrounded by historians and philosophers telling them the direction of events. That’s why they’re always able to keep abreast of events and be in control. We don’t do this in Africa!!. Instead, African educationists have been brainwashed to put history in the back seat in schools. I can give advice because I know where we are coming from, I know our current position today; I know where we are going to. It worries me that our destination is not looking very good.
